Purpose.

I want to make my first post short and simple, although I want to make it long enough so you will be able to grasp the importance of what "Back to Life" means. I will be sharing very personal moments and many funny or exciting moments I experience during business and how they continuously reinforce my vision for Revitalize Senior Fitness which is : to be the most compassionate and specialized senior fitness business in America.

This all started in the very early stages of Revitalize Senior Fitness before I even had a name or Vision & Mission statement for the business complete. By randomly walking into facilities offering services I was able to eventually get a referral with an Independent Living Facility to teach classes for a group of 10 mature adults. The class slowly begin to grow to about 15-20 residents taking my class each time I went in. As my joy and passion increased for these classes and my heart for the senior population continued to grow I noticed that each time they would remind me of how thankful they were to have me, my response was being with them I was equally blessed or more! Well one night I had a dream of a particular member of my class her name for story purposes was Sue. In this dream I remember walking up to her and seeing her weeping and in my dream I went up to her and was comforting her, and then all the sudden I woke up. This took me by surprise because Sue was known in my class to be one of the more playful and jokers of the bunch. A few weeks went by and I was teaching a seated yoga class when I looked up and noticed Sue sitting there in the back, and I didn't think anything about it until I felt a slight tug in my heart and remembered the dream I had. After the class Sue walked out of the room in a hurry and so I quickly pursued her to make sure that everything was okay. When I called her name she turned around and she had tears running down her face so I immediately asked her if everything was okay, and what was wrong. She quietly with tears running down her face opened up and told me her son had just gotten diagnosed with cancer and she was not only worried but scared. I began to tell her about the dream I had and expressed to her that I had seen this very moment we were experiencing. I was not only able to encourage her about the Lord thinking about her and revealing it to me, but I was able to quickly pray with her for her son. It was in that very moment that I saw my purpose and vision for Revitalize. I saw my purpose for being an instructor and business owner was not just about myself, and taking 45 min out of my day to make some money, but It was about being compassionate and loving all those in front of you regardless of age, race, or social status.

I really hope this encourages you to not only in the Lord and his amazing ways, but also to continuously be aware of the many people around you and standing before you that you are called to show love and compassion for.
